Useful details to include

Include your iOS and app versions, the feature you were using and the exact error message. For detection problems, include your location, motion and Bluetooth settings. Remove private addresses, routes and calendar data from screenshots and logs. Please do not send a complete logbook without arranging it with us first.

Common questions

Why is a trip not detected?

Check location access, including background access, and Motion & Fitness in iPhone Settings. If using Bluetooth detection, check the vehicle assignment. You can also start and stop trips by hand.

How do I export my logbook?

Open the trip list and use the share function for PDF or CSV. PDF is useful for printing; CSV lets you continue in a spreadsheet.

How do I import old trips?

Use “Export Logdb” in the old app and open the exported file with Drivers Logbook. Keep a copy of the original file.

Does my logbook sync through iCloud?

No. The app stores trips locally on your iPhone. Manage exported files and device backups separately.

Will a tax authority accept my logbook?

Acceptance is not guaranteed. Check the requirements that apply to you and review your records.
